The Philosophy of Concretion and Abstraction — Volume One: The Foundational Introduction
Resetting the Scales and Counters, and Breaking with the Inherited System

Why did I decide to reset the scales? Because I saw clearly that the algorithm of human thought had been contaminated by the biases of others and by the accumulations of history. Within the inherited system, a person does not see the truth as it is; he sees what he has been told is the truth. The return to the zero state is the state in which authentic consciousness stands before its Lord in silence and Abstraction, freed from all the additional mixtures and surplus files that have burdened the Self over the centuries. In that decisive moment the sanctity of persons fell away, the authority of historical conjecture dissolved, and in the depths of my heart there dawned the light of a certainty that cannot be divided among schools or sects.
I stripped religion of the concretised image that human beings had painted over it through the centuries, until nothing remained but the essence of a pure connection with the Creator. Burning the ships meant giving up, for good, the false psychological safety that the group provides. Belonging to the herd deceives a person into believing he is saved, while in fact it leads him to repeat the same error under different names. My intellectual withdrawal meant entering an independent and wholly separate mental environment, in which I placed every existential concept on the dissecting table of Abstraction and asked the divine text directly: “Who are you, apart from the commentaries of this scholar or that?” From the heart of this bold question I began to rebuild concepts from their first spring, so that human life might rest on verification rather than traditional imitation, on the heart’s certainty rather than mechanical transmission. The zero state is not pure nothingness. It is fullness of primordial nature, and readiness to receive revelation from the Lord in its purest form.
